| A case of fatal intoxication after intake of a disinfectant (75% active component Propoxur) with suicidal intent is reported. Propoxur (2-isopropoxyphenyl-N-methylcarbamate) is a carbamate, which reversibly inhibits acetylcholine esterase. The autopsy findings and the results of toxicological-chemical examinations are presented and discussed.
